as the two triathletes who will complete the Vaseline Men XTERRA Philippine
Team that will represent the country in the XTERRA Off-road Triathlon Global
Championship in Maui , Hawaii Maui on October 25, 2012.

Plopinio, Yuzon complete Vaseline Men XTERRA RP Team
Redg Plopinio and Hector Yuzon
were recently named as the two triathletes who will join the Vaseline Men
XTERRA Philippine Team that will compete in Maui .
Plopinio and Yuzon bested five
other triathletes and emerged as winners after garnering the highest total
scores. Their scores were based on online votes as well as points they received
from the Vaseline Men XTERRA Tri-Outs Camp, where they conquered and withstood
physically demanding challenges. Plopinio is a corporate training manager at
Sutherland Global Services, while Yuzon is owner of Second Wind running store.
Run United Goes the 42Km Distance
There
are marathons, then there's the Run United Philippine Marathon (RUPM). Everyone
is excited to participate in newest addition to the country's running calendar
that will go on a debut run on October 28.

marathon, as it added 42km to its race categories. And the running community is

Sessions on 25th Street gained
the attention of the local industry, having been nominated in the Best
Musical/Variety Show category in this year’s PMPC Star Awards for TV. To mark
its 1st year on-air and kick off its 3rd season, the show will be holding a
special free concert on October 28 at Eastwood Mall. And in preparation to their upcoming concert,
a presscon was held today for media and bloggers to personally meet the people
behind the Sessions on 25th Street .
VitaPops Wacky Science Fair
Unilab recently brought a one of kind opportunity for kids
to learn while having fun through the VitaPops Wacky Science Fair! Held at SM
Mall of Asia Music Hall, the Wacky Science Fair let kids enjoy perform various
science experiments that are both educational and fun. They were able to
experience a variety of activities ranging from arts & crafts to the
Vitapops Dash, which involved multiple physical and mental challenges. They
were also entertained by the side performances of clowns, magicians,
unicyclists, stilt walkers, bubble maker, ventriloquist and they also had the
chance to win amazing prizes as well! The experience gives so much laughter to
all the kids that attended the fair.
