Summer Carnival for CDC Residents

One thing that I missed is bonding with my neighbors but it you are a CDC Residents; this kind of feeling would never come your way. CDC Holdings embraces summer through fun and games as it holds the first summer carnival event for its residents! The event happened last s April 18 at its Manila Rivercity Residences Project in Sta Ana Manila. The kid and families from its Paranaque property, Lions Park Residences, enjoyed the event the next day.

The Summer Festival event features outdoor recreation wherein members of the CDC community are given the chance to have a fruitful bonding experience while enjoying the games and prizes CDC has prepared.

Crocs Mega Sale was recently held at the Festival City Tent.  From April 24 to 26, you can shop till you drop was the theme. I was able to shop at the 25th of April and my my my, it was really a blast.

It may seems hard to travel from our place in Pasig to Alabang but with the different model and style that I was able to find that day; the trip was worth it.

Ruth Riley: Here in the Philippines in Support of Alaska Jr NBA/WNBA

Ruth Riley is now here in the Philippines to support the Alaska Jr NBA/WNBA Philippines 2015. Ruth is drafted 5th overall by the Miami sol in the 2001 WNBA Draft. Picked first in the 2003 WNBA dispersal draft by the Detroit Shock and a 2004 Olympic Gold medalist. She is also a 2 time WNBA Champion ( Detroit 2003, 2006) and was named WNBA Finals MVP in 2001 NCAA Champion and Finals MVP and served as the vice president of the WNBA Player’s Union are just some of her accomplishment

Full name is Ruth Ellen Riley was born August 28,1979 was already 6 ft. when she was 12 years old. Her jersey number 25 was retired by her alma mater North Miami High School and she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Psychology.

A woman of many accomplishments and yet determined to impart her talent with our girls here in the Philippines. Our girls  who qualified for the Alaska JR NBA/WNBA are really lucky to be able to meet and greet her and even learn a trick or two during the 3 day national training .

I was lucky enough to get a chance to meet Ruth and video some of her interviews during the meet and greet for media at the Marriot Hotel last April 23,2015.

Banana Boat and Futkal for : All out for Family Futbol Festival

Summer time seems to be busier this time of the year; learning new thing; new sports and bonding with the whole family. For a busy mom like me, bonding needs not be far from home and travel long distance to experience new adventure.

Within a ride from our house, my family will have our bonding/new adventure this coming Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the UP Sunken Garden . Banana Boat Sunscreen is set to make this Sunday and the whole summer season  extra fun for me and my  family as it partners with Futkal (Futbol SA Kalye), a non-government organization that uses football as a tool for social development.

From 6am to 5 pm, Banana Boat Family Futbol Festival will be happening at the whole area of UP Sunken Garden.
