Happiest Pinoy will be P1M richer

I say; Laughter is the best medicine. Laughter plus a positive outlook in life goes a long long way. We Filipinos know how to adopt ourselves to the worst possible scenario in life; financial, mental or physical. We know how to see things in a different perspective and it always give us hope to survive the trials that comes on our way.

Two years ago, I was lucky to witness the awarding of the Happiest Pinoy 2012 awardee Rommel Arellano. You will never expect that a man who has polio would rise above the situation that he had. Rommel is married for 13 years and had 3 sons who support him. At that time, his prize was only P250, 000.00 and he was happy.

SM Cinemas Presents Suspense and Adventure this October!

SM Megamall is the nearest place in my residence where I could truly enjoy watching movies; alone or with my family or barkada.  It was easy to just to get a copy of DVD and enjoy watching movies at home but still there is something that I cannot explain when I watch the movie inside a movie theater.  I appreciate the fact that SM Cinema continuous to bring more than movies to customers like me.

SM Cinema through its CinExclusive program continues to bring movie-lovers an exciting line-up of action-filled stories this October. This month’s suspense and adventure-filled movie list includes Little Azkals: Pursuit of the World Cup Dream, Detective Conan: Dimensional Sniper, Tumbang Preso (In the Can), and The Pirates.

SM Skating Rink Host it’s First Speed Skating Event.

My daughters were still in grade school when we first tried the SM skating rink in Megamall. I was fascinated as to what the children can perform in the skating rink, considering we are a tropical country. I even enrolled my children to take up some lessons in figurative skating since they are doing ballet lesson. I know that the skating would be helpful as well with regards to their ballet dance routine. That scenario was way way back and now SM Skating Rink doesn’t stand for figurative skating anymore. SM Skating Rink now stands for another type of sports; the speed race.

For the first time in the Philippines, the country will host the recent international speed skating tournament last October 21-23, 2014 – a recreational competition to hone skaters for events such as the Winter Olympics.
