Having a son who is studying in Ateneo, make me a mom who has to learn a thing or two about his favorite sports, Basketball. I cannot deny that I used to love this game myself way back in the 90’s. Now that I have a basketball fan on my sleeve, a new blood been getting on my nerve lately especially when it comes to basketball.
Here’s an event worth waiting for. July is just around the corner and that means another exciting event NBA event. NBA Legend Horace Grand and New York Knicks City Dancers will be coming to Manila for the NBA 3-on-3 Philippines.
Present by Sprite, the NBA 3-on-3 Philippines will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall from July 1-3. This will give an opportunity for Filipino youth to hone their skills and compete among their peers while providing authentic NBA entertainment and experience for all the contestant and supporters.
Team registration had ended last June 28, Registration fee of P800 had been shoulder by each team fro the Age division and P1, 200 per team for Open Division. The VIP division was by invitation only.
All participants of the NBA 3-on-3 Philippines receives a jersey and NBA Sling Bag, with early registrant (those who signed up before June 10) receives a singed photograph of Grant. Prizes are also in store for the winner of each division.
Other exciting activities also awaits those who will attend the weekend celebration like slum dunk contest, skills challenge and dance competitions.
