Get Ready For the Musical Fountain Show : The Revolution

A friend of mine asked me the other day as where can they take their Korean visitor for a tour. I suggested they go to Luneta and since they are there already why not go to Manila Ocean Park as well.

Manila Ocean Park is the all season holiday destination here in Manila and so much innovation and improvement has been done since the last time I visited the place.

I also suggested that they watch the musical fountain show as well. There is one in Luneta but if you want to see the grandest performance, the Manila Ocean Park Musical Fountain Show is a sure winner.

The other good news about it, Manila Ocean Park is proud to present new highlights for the Musical Fountain Show dubbed as “The Revolution”. It definitely a must see signature spectacle that features animated water fountain entertainment, laser lights and music choreography using the latest fountain technology. It is the country’s first largest and longest running musical fountain show, at par with the worlds best. The fountain reach up to about 120feet in height and over 1600 water nozzles are used to achieve a stunning visual display amidst the backdrop of magnificent Manila Bay.

New characters will spice up the already magnificent show such as a cute mascot representing the animals in various attractions of Manila Ocean Park. I was able to see and meet Hamboo and Chilo, the adorable Humboldt penguins’ of trails to Antarctica: the Penguin quest. There are also the exotic intelligent birds such as Sassy and Dazzle who join the fun group from the All Star Bird Show. The variety show provides a unified theme of Manila Oceans Park‘s banner CSR campaign “I love my ocean planet”. Where everything is interconnected and encourages mans active participation to create a positive impact on the environment.

Mans fascination with mysterious mythical sea creatures such as mermaids and merman continue even in this day and age. In an exciting number, live characters starring magical mermen will fuel a rush of adrenaline with their impressive jazz and hip-hop moves done in a beautifully choreographed theatrical style.

The nigh sky illuminated with water screens and thee dimensional images, captivating fireworks display and other surprises. Under water lights follow the water pattern with precise movements alongside popular and well-loved songs. The Musical Fountain Show is inspired by diverse and colorful marine life species and provides lessons on ocean conservation.
