There are awards that you just have to get. AnakTV is just something you can let pass you by. All hard work and long hours of research and
give it all and be recognized is just something to treasure.
ABS-CBN children
shows, I Got It! and Why Not! once again, received the Anak
TV seal in the recently –concluded Anak TV Awards which was hosted by sports
and child advocate and Anak TV official spokeperson, Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski.
This
is the second year that both shows were recognized for being wholesome and
child-sensitive, thus, esteemed to sport the Anak TV seal during broadcast . I Got
It! and Why Not! also received
the award last year.
The
Anak TV Seal is given to television programs that kids can watch even with
little or no adult supervision. The seal is the symbol of child-sensitive,
family-friendly television in the Philippines.
The decision on which shows could sport the coveted seal was determined
by over 3,000 adult jurors from various sectors representing different
geographic areas of the country during the 43 assessment screenings held from
March to November this year. These are
shows regardless of target audience, genre, language and country of origin, as
long as they are aired on free TV.
I Got It!,
hosted by Archie Alemania, is a high-quality edutainment magazine show produced
by ABS-CBN Foundation in collaboration with eight other ASEAN-member countries
(Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Brunei and Myanmar). The collaboration aims to produce a first-rate children show which, in time,
will model structure in creating children’s educational television in Southeast
Asia.
Why Not! which is also
produced by ABS-CBN Foundation, aims to help develop children’s proper eating
habits to help them grow into healthy adults.
Presented in an entertaining manner, the show educates children on the
different variety of food and why they should choose them over junk food. The show is hosted by Nash Aguas and Kelly
Nakanishi.
