A vacation is what WE take when we can no longer take
what we’re taking. The question lies in what should we do during our vacation.
I realized that traveling to a near by town is good thing to do, seeing sights
along the way would be an added attraction and experience life in an exciting different
way.
Finding an opportunity to disconnect from our regular
life, to figure out things we don’t understand. With the crazy schedules, work
and school, going out of town once in a while give us to time to recharge and
feel invigorated. Going on vacation is a very good stress remover and that’s
why Avida Land, the affordable housing arm of Ayala Land is offering its first
vacation home development –Asilo Tagaytay. Asilo is derived from the Tagalog word
“silong which mean to take shelter. And
a shelter is what we need; a shelter to the stress of everyday city life.
What’s fascinating about Asilo Tagaytay is; it’s a mixed-used
residential development that offers a second home or vacation home for buyers
like me who want to enjoy picturesque views overlooking the majestic Taal Lake
and Volcano not to mention the cool, refreshing climate that Tagaytay is famous
for.
Furthermore, it’s
customized for the needs of my family who want to have a second home for our
holidays, weekend or vacation. Asilo Tagaytay is easily accessible from Metro
Manila and Greater Metro Manila. The
location of Asilo Tagaytay is very strategic; it’s close to the crossroads of
the Tagaytay National Highway and the Aquinaldo Highway. Besides being close to two major national
highways, it’s conveniently near the Rotonda and beside the Our Lady of Lourdes
Parish church plus the amenities of all places of leisure.
Not far from the two
mid-rise residential towers is the low-rise building that will soon offers
retails area, and yet the design will harmoniously blend with the natural
landscape which I truly appreciate.
To further give me comfort, the size and number of
the buildings are just enough to let me enjoy the view and the climate. This is
evident in the form of the structures and their terracing, where we can see how
they sort of step back and become unobtrusive parts of the over all landscape.
The corridors are designed to have breezeways and there’s ample space between buildings
to allow better cross-ventilation. The roof is pitched so there is a particular
character that is appropriate to Tagaytay.
Asilo Tagaytay is designed to have units that are
more spacious and bigger than those offered in urban areas. The units are also designed
in such a way that I can enjoy the cool and refreshing climate of Tagaytay. There
are more balconies in the upper floors so that I can fully enjoy the view of
Tall and the Batangas mountain range in the horizon.
As for the amenities, Asilo Tagaytay is also
designed to blend in with the setting. It’ color reflect the colorful variety
of hues of Tagaytay’s trees and plants. From the retail areas to the
convergence areas and even the streets are designed to create a rustic,
nostalgic environment that feels comfortable homey and familiar.
The concept for the retail area is very different
from the usual mall. It will have courtyards and showcase Tagaytay products -
residents, travelers, and vacationers can enjoy the best that Tagaytay has to
offer. It will have a local flavor and its design will fit the setting.
Once complete, Asilo Tagaytay will be a destination
unto itself. It’s envisioned to be a convergence point, the newest hub for
weekend lunches, for shopping for goods that are usually bought from the
streets or market—from local delicacies to fruits, to flowers, and other products
that people can only buy in Tagaytay. Asilo Tagaytay is also a prime choice for
those like me who wish to invest in a place they lease to interested parties (leasing services are for long-term rent/lease
agreements, not transients) , with the help of Leasing Services by Avida. Like all Ayala
and Avida properties, Asilo Tagaytay promotes sustainable living in harmony
with the environment. It will also be
managed and maintained by the Ayala Property Management Corporation. This
guarantees residents that the property remains in top shape.
They offer these following units
Towers: Studio A – 22 sqm, Studio B – 30 sqm, 1BR –
40 sqm, 2BR – 60 sqm
Low-rise building: 1 BR – 50 sqm, 2BR – 80 sqm
Price range: 2M to 7.5M"
From what I have research so far, Avida Land was
borne out of Ayala Land’s desire to bring affordable living at its best to the
greatest number of Filipinos. After two decades of fulfilling dreams and 60
projects in 28 locations, Avida still provides the best community with the
security and assurance of a healthy environment. Keeping in mind its primary
goal of creating ""dream"" shelters that enhance the
quality of family life, Avida will continue to develop and maintain communities
that set the standard in the industry, promote the growth of property values, ensure
better and consistent quality, and deliver excellent value for money. All Avida
condominiums fulfill the 5 condo must-haves: 1) Free-flowing air and sunlight
- Avida's living spaces are
smartly-designed so natural light and air flows inside the entire unit, not
just in one room. 2) Fewer units per floor - lets you enjoy more privacy with
fewer neighbors, saves you the stress of crowded hallways, long elevator lines
and jam-packed amenities. 3) Sensible amenities - amenities that are fun but
practical, every facility is well-planned so you won’t have to pay unnecessary
maintenance dues. 4) Emergency power even inside your unit - eases the stress
of power outages by providing more stand-by electricity. You can keep your
lights on and even turn on your TV and refrigerator. 5) Easy payment terms -
Avida offers a stretched payment scheme that lets one easily own a condo
without compromising his/her lifestyle.
What’s there to think about when I fully understand what Avida
wants me to have? An EXTRAORDINARY VACATION HOME.
