A groundbreaking event “International Beauty, Health and Wellness Expo” was opened at the SMX Convention Center in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Philippines and run from September 26-28, 2013.
The opening ceremony was graced by some of the country’s leading personalities in the field of beauty, health and wellness development, such asCarmie de Leon, VP Sales and Marketing, Healthway Medical; Cynthia Lagdameo-Carrion, President/CEO of Asian Holistic Medical Alliance; Dr. Hernando Delizo, President /Chair and CEO of The Healthcare Business Development Partners Holdings, Inc.; Susan Barlin, VP, Forever; Sonny Villariba, Jr., Director, Philippine Coconut Authority; Justin Seow, College Director of Raffles Design Institute-Manila; Sonny del Rosario, Academic Director, Raffles Design Institute-Manila; andCarol del Rosario, Sales and Marketing Manager, Raffles Design Institute-Manila.
The event attracted more than 10,000 buyers/trade visitors from here and abroad, and will see the participation of more than 200 of the country’s established and up-and-coming movers and shakers in the Health and Beauty, Fitness and Style, and Wellness and Relaxation circles.
The expo is also the perfect venue for international companies to gain a foothold in the Philippine market by partnering with local companies to further their expansion efforts and business growth in the country. This can be a very timing endeavor since the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) is preparing for full integration by 2015 under a single ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).

And finally, Day Threegoes deep and spiritual in managing stress and understanding total wellness, along with lifestyle-changing topics that will discuss solutions to various health problems, including rehabilitation programs for the kidney and the heart. And in the afternoon, blood-rushing discussions on running, mixed martial arts and other workouts will provide a spectacular cap-off for the whole event.
