In line with its thrust this year to make it fresh
by bringing the program to more schools and communities nationwide, Jr. NBA/Jr.
WNBA presented by Alaska will conduct a series of free open clinics this
weekend up to next week in various part of Metro Manila.
On Feb. 14, Saturday, a clinic will be held at the
Garlic Court at Barangay 28, District 2 in Caloocan City; Feb. 15 it will be at
the Tala Glorietta Park also in Caloocan; and at Bloomridge Integrated School
at Casa Milan, Fairview, Quezon City, on Feb. 17.
There will be two sessions of clinics in all venues
-- one at 9-11 a.m. and another from 1-4 p.m.
Participants who are not students of Bloomridge may
still join the clinics which are conducted by local Jr. NBA coaches led by
Alaska Power Camp Director Jeffrey Cariaso.
Other coaches who run the drills and conduct the
learning sessions include PBA Legends Rodney Santos, Eric de la Cuesta and
Topex Robinson, and Perlas Pilipinas national players Melissa Jacob, Ish Tiu,
MJ Galicia and Justine Formata.
In behalf of Alaska, I would like to invite you to
