There are fun run and
there is a fun run for cause; do you know the difference. As per my opinion;
you run in the fun run because it fun and you got to mingle with star and win
prizes if you are the fastest runner on that event. And fun run for a cause is
running in support of something that is worth what you spent on registering for
that run. There is lots of fun run for a cause and what differs PaRun ng Cowboy
Grill is that; they are giving 50% percent of the proceeds to a worthy
beneficiary. The Cottolengo Filipino Foundation is a one of a kind orphanage;
they are the shelter for kids that were abandoned by parents and government
because they are special; so special that only Cottolengo is brave enough to
take care of them. Cottolengo need around P250, 000.00 to make ends meet, and
they are for the medicine and payroll of their nurses and doctors. They have
volunteers, but volunteer can come and go; they need nurses and doctors for
them. For them to be able to take good care of these special kids; they are grateful
that Cowboy Grill chooses them to be the beneficiary of the PaRun. This
wonderful corporate social responsibility is in line also with Cowboy Grill celebrations
of its 21st founding anniversary. The registration had started last March
15, 2015 and the organizers are expecting a larger turn-out of participants as
there are several groups which signify their interest in joining the FUN RUN
for a CAUSE.
