Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large (The World Business Council for Sustainable Development in its publication “Making Good Business Sense” by Lord Holme and Richard Watts)
As a management graduate I can still remember the elements of CSR; towards Employees, towards Consumers, End Users and Public, towards Competitors, towards Suppliers, Contractors and Government, towards Environment. And this project- towards Consumers, End Users and Public. The primary goal of all business is to earn profits through the patronage of their target market or the consumers. Business owners owe the public a lot that’s why in return they tend to pay it back.

Football is now a new trend sports here in the Philippines as Azkals, started to blossom.
One of the video shown in the press conference has the message of “YKK, Connecting Possibilities” One of these possibilities they will do is bringing Philippines to the world cup through football. The children were chosen according to their status-poorer than the poorest. This project supports healthy growth of children through sports. If every Corporation will do their Corporate Social Responsibility, Philippines may get back our rank in the top2 or higher in Asia. We’re near to it.
