For our beloved nanay, Libreng Sakay from Filipinay

It is May once again, and with all the festivities going around the country, we can never neglect that special day dedicated to the most important women of our lives--mothers. And Filipinay understands that no material gift can ever top the moments wherein a mother get to spend time with her children. With this, Filipinay is offering free rides all over the country on Mother's Day to give convenience to these special women.

This Mother’s Day, Filipinay, which strives to empower women (including mothers) to make the right reproductive health choice for herself and her family, is celebrating mother’s day by providing free rides in Manila and Cebu.

Libreng Sakay will run from May 14-16, and will have different buses and jeeps plying various routes to make it more convenient for mothers to go to and from their destinations free of charge. Manila, Cebu City, and Davao City will see buses and jeeps with “Libreng Sakay” signs in front at specific pickup and drop off points around their respective metros.

In Manila, five buses will be going back and forth between and SM Fairview and Taft via Quezon Avenue, three buses will ply the Fairview-Alabang route, and two buses will be available for those traveling from Malanday to Alabang and vice versa. In Cebu, there will be jeeps that will go back and forth within Ayala, Cebu City. The free rides are open in the tri-metro areas, just look for the “Libreng Sakay” sign.
