There’s another place you have to check out when you
are in Rizal Park. The Hub at Kilometer
Zero recently officially opens its door to public. Serve’s as a lounge, café,
bar, restaurant and a convenient ticketing office for 2GO travelers and to all those who want to take a break.
The Hub’s bar and café has a list of exciting food
and drinks on its menu. From the freshly brewed Batangas coffee to deep and
complexed-flavoured espresso blends, its café is being run by expert baristas trained
by British Daniel Slakmon who worked in famous international cruise ships.
Prior to Slakmon’s work in Princess Cruises, he’s also employed in private
members bars, clubs and restaurants.
Slakmon, who heads the Hotel Quality and Development
Unit of 2Go Travel, concocted the coffee selections and cocktails. His
expertise is very evident in the aromatic, smooth and full bodied coffee
comparable to the best in the country. He also prepared the bar menu with hints
of Philippine fresh fruits mixed to alcoholic and non alcoholic bases to become
indulging cocktails
Meanwhile, American Hospitality Academy and College
of St. Benilde-trained Chef JP Landingin made twist out of your favorite
Filipino cuisine. Included in The Hub’s restaurant menu list are regional
dishes turned into genius palate ticklers. For example, Landingan carved the
famous Bacolod Chicken Inasal (Skewed chicken) and made a whole day sandwich
meal. For desserts, the very popular mangos
teen has now became a mousse, perhaps a rare sweet sensation you can only find
at The HUB.
The HUB is a
project of 2GO Travel. We all know that 2Go Travel is the domestic shipping
passenger business unit of 2Go Group, Inc., the country’s biggest total supply
chains solution company
So indulge in both history and dining pleasure at
The HUB @ Kilometer Zero’s bar and café.
