When it comes to arts, there are no boundaries, no
season. Endless imagination is what always transpires. That is what I had in
mind when World renowned Filipino Fashion designer Rocky Gathercole presented
his collection at the recent fashion show entitle “Halloween by Rocky
Gathercole held last Oct. 31, 2014 at the Solaire Resorts and Casino. Halloween
was presented in a much different and outstanding way when model made it to the
runway. There are different words that could describe the fashion show; sexy,
scandalous, provocative but everyone would say that it is really one of a kind.
Even designer Rocky Gathercole could not describe
his own collection, because it is really beyond words. Let our own mind do the
interpretation.
During the event, a guest bands like Inner Voices
and Route 70 was also there to perform for the crowd. There's a free make-up
tutorial led by “Nena Cosmetics.” Nena Cosmetics, founded by Lorena “Nena”
Mondonedo Perez, is Chicago based but manufactured in New York .They would also be launching Nena Cosmetics
in the Philippines, hopefully, by December.
“The Halloween by Rocky Gathercole” fashion show is
produced by ERASE, Solaire Resort and Casino and Nena Cosmetics. The fashion
show was for the benefit of the UP Women’s Volleyball Team.
