Schick's Shave to Save Campaign: for the Benefit of Life Project 4

It was supposed to be Mother’s Day but others felt that it is also a time to support the campaign of Schick’s Smoothism Temple’s Shave to Save. A sharing event for a cause was held last May 10, 2015 at the Trinoma Activity Center. As early as 10 am or from the time that the mall opened its door to the customer, a long line in the registration area of the event was the first thing that you would notice. 

To promote good grooming among Filipino men, Schick give away thousands of razor to mall goers and participants



Schick is committed in promoting good grooming among Filipino men. Through the event more men was encouraged to practice the proper ways of achieving a smooth and clean shave to prevent unwanted nicks, cuts, and bumps. When it comes to grooming habits, there is a huge difference between simply doing it and doing it right and that is what Schick wanted to impart to the men of our life



There are activities like include free haircuts, shaves, and exciting games for participants who arrived as early as 10:00 a.m. 



Present during the event was Rico Robles, a disc jockey for Monster Radio TX 93.1, who hosted the Smoothism Temple's  Shave to Save event.


Smooth dance contest and smooth shaving for husband and wife were some of the favorite’s games during the event.
 


The highlights during the event was the awarding of donations amounting to P100,000 to Life Project 4 Youth, a non-government organization which assists in the social and professional integration of young adults aged 17 to 24 who live in extreme poverty and are victims of exclusion such as ex-prisoners, street youth, the disabled, and abused.

"Our partnership with Life Project 4 Youth allowed us to reach the country’s most vulnerable men, in which case, the young adults who are beleaguered by traumatic experiences,"” said Claire Guevarra, officer-in-charge marketing person of Schick. “"We are looking forward to have more activities that will help shape the lives of these men, one shave at a time.'

Guevarra concluded, "Schick aims to provide a stress-free liberating experience. We want to ease out the hassles of shaving and make it a more pleasurable experience. We hope that with this event, we are also able to provide fun and a wonderful experience to those who joined us today."
