In celebration of their 10th year anniversary, SM Hypermart once again held series of cooking demos dubbed as Chef on Parade all over the country.
Last week, SM Hypermart in MOA held its first series of cooking demo for the delight of customer’s goers. Chef Deejay presented 3 dishes for pasta and rice using Clara Ole Products. It was a day of learning and Clara Ole and SM Hyermart makes sure that everyone had a good time. Kung Pao Pasta with Cantonese Pork Steak
550 g Spaghetti
250 g Pork belly, thinly sliced
1-1/2 tsps Shrimp Paste
1 tbsp Garlic vinegar
2 tsps Balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Sesame oil rice wine
3 tsps extra virgin olive oil
3 tsps Garlic, minced
¼ cup Onions, minced
2 packs Clara Ole Kung PAo Pasta Sauce, 225gram
¼ cup Spring onions, sliced 1” long
Direction
Cook Pasta according to package directions.
Marinate pork in shrimp paste, garlic vinegar, oil and wine for at least 15 minutes. Hat pan and pan-grill pork pieces until done. Cut into serving pieces and top over pasta.
Heat oil in pan, and sauté garlic and onions
Add Clara ole Kung Pao and bring to a simmer. Toss in spring onions and pasta. Serve with pork on top. Sprinkle with spring onion and toss in pasta.
The Chef on Parade will run from July to September.
