Launched in 1938, Nescafe today is one of the world’s
popular brands in the Philippines; this is supported by its current position as
the country’s top brand page in Facebook.
To commemorate this momentous event, the Nescafe Fan’s Day was held last
Nov. 17, 2012 at the Music Hall of SM MOA.
A whole of day of celebration was Nescafe’s way of
showing its gratitude to its 2 million facebook liker. Event such as
interactive video and photo booths, games and variety shows to reward fans that
have made the success of the brand possible. Merienda was served, Nescafe
coffee with the favorite partner- the pandesal.
Celebration was made complete by the appearance of
celebrities like Petra Mahalimuyak, Frank Magalona, Survivor castaways Betong
and Maey and Callalily, 6 Cycleminds and Urbandub and Drew Arellano who hosted
the event.
The brand page was launched on facebook last July 8,
2009, in December 2011, it reached the 1 million mark, and shortly after a
year, on October 23, it held’s its spot as the no. 1 brand page in the Philippines
with 2 million liker.
Nescafe Philippines has shown that constant
engagement and genuine interest in fans opinion will not only earn respect, but
also gamer love, The brands effort to add local flavor to its Facebook post
have paved the way for this social media success. Understanding what matters
such as friends, families, celebration of life and love are what brought
Nescafe closer to the hearts of the Filipinos.
