When it comes to our children, we always want the
best quality and design for their apparel. We want their apparel to reflect
their personality. We want our children
to be chic and yet comfortable on what they are wearing.
A fun explosion of young and hip styles recently
ruled the ramp at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium as global kids’ fashion brands
Nautica, Desigual, and ELLE were formally launched in the Philippines via a
fashion.
The three brands are brought to the country by
Internationale Globale Marques Inc. (IGM), an affiliate of Richwell Phils.
Group of Companies, the leading distributor, manufacturer, and licensor of
branded children’s products in the Philippines. Included in its portfolio are
Barbie, Chicco, Hot Wheels, M7J Kids Republic, Ogalala, Pigeon, and Safety1st .
IGM Chief Operating Officer Maye Yao Co Say
declares, “IGM brings Nautica, Desigual, and ELLE in the Philippines to offer
new and elevated style options for kids who are beginning to develop their
fashion tastes and discover their style personalities. Each brand has a
distinct take on fashion which we are sure the market will find trendy and
relatable.”
The event which gathered fashion-forward moms and
their kids including Amina Aranaz-Alunan and kids Lucas, Helena, and Diego,
also featured themed tableaus that showcased the style personality of each
brand. Highlight of the event was the fashion show, which brought together the
choice pieces from the latest collection of the brands.
Nautica Kids opened the show with its laidback
approach to fashion that oozed with the brand’s penchant for exploration and
adventure. Casual pieces for both adventurous boys and girls ruled the ramp for
the American brand. The collection also resonated with nautical elements in its
polos, tops, dresses, outerwear, and jeans, which boasted of the classic,
crisp, and clean lines Nautica is known for.
Quirky and eclectic distinguished Desigual’s
collection. The Spanish brand, which became popular with its offbeat approach
to casual clothing, presented its kids wear with humor-filled prints, patchwork
designs, and innovative artwork. With its spontaneous and creative character, Desigual
is the right brand for decisive and free-spirited little ones.
ELLE ended the show on a classy note with items that
exuded the easy and effortless sophistication of its Parisian roots. Kid models
sashayed down the catwalk in prim and polished pieces from pretty tops and
dainty dresses for girls, and refined polos for boys. The collection also
included footwear rendered in playful yet elegant styles. The line-up captured
the personality of the ELLE kid: chic, classy, and confident.
Amina Aranaz-Alunan, whose kids also serve as
ambassadors for the brands, is all praises for Nautica, Desigual, and ELLE’s
collections and how they all speak about her kids’ style personalities. She
shares, “My eldest Lucas is big on the outdoors and adventure so he prefers
Nautica’s items. Diego is the spontaneous little creative in the bunch so he
fits well with Desigual. Helena, of course, is in love with the feminine and
elegance of ELLE. It’s wonderful how the brands fit perfectly with my kids’
tastes.”
Maye Yao Co Say concludes, “We want to give children
more clothing choices through the launch of Nautica, Desigual, and ELLE. We
believe that bringing global brands to Filipino kids gives them a wider taste
for fashion which we hope will help them further develop their style and
confidence.”
