This Christmas, SM City San Lazaro is celebrating the holidays by remembering all the things that make Christmas merry: Music, laughter, indulgence, give fiving and the spirit of sharing.

Coca-Cola Tree Lighting Event at the Araneta Center : Where Happiness Lives On

        

On its 100th year, Coca-Cola pays tribute to the Filipinos for believing in happiness. The magical season of Christmas is the perfect backdrop to rally the Filipinos to continue believing in happiness. Coca-Cola sparks among us this season that it is not about the big gifts nor the big gestures that make Christmas special, but rather the small and meaningful things that we express and share with one another – the warm and welcoming spirit, the acts of generosity and even shared meals - to make someone happy.

It’s my 2^nd year to attend the Coca-Cola Tree Lighting Event at the Araneta Center. Lighting the Christmas tree  is a towering reminder to the Filipinos to let happiness live on. Now on its 5th year, families and friends gather around the biggest tree in the country to collectively open happiness.

Held last November 9, 2012, Coca-Cola kicked off the tradition of happiness through a simple celebration.

Rock the City Halloween event of Rockwell Power Plant Mall

Rock the City welcomed more than 700 pairs of kids and their parents to enjoy performances by bands, magicians, balloon twisters, acrobats and jugglers. Booths like a kiddie salon, nail art, face-painting photobooth, and drum and guitar arcade consoles were there. A Name-That-Tune and Name-that-Artist game were included in the Halloween agenda. The kids showed off their junior rock star looks in a Trick-or-Treat to all participating tenants of the Power Plant Mall.

SAFEGUARD CREATES “SOAP ALARM” TO ENCOURAGE HAND WASHING

Global Handwashing Day is celebrated during the month of October. In support of this, Safeguard launched the Safeguard Soap Alarm, a soap dispenser created to alert people of the importance of hand washing after using public toilets.
