It was actually hassle free for me but at one point, I wasn’t able to experience the actual transportation of going to and fro the actual site.

A Spooktacular Day at Active Fun BGC From Us

It has been years since I attended a Halloween party for kids. My kids are all grown up and got over those pre-Halloween events. It was nice for Active Fun to invite a couple of mommies to join their yearly Spooktacular Halloween Contest.

A niece of mine is so excited finding out that I would take him to his first ever Halloween Costume Party.  As early as 12 noon, we are already at Active Fun BGC and we are the first one to register

Since the actual event would start at 3 pm, Emman has still time to play. An unlimited play ticket is included in the registration fee.

When there are enough kids, a trick or treat party started at the ground floor going up to the 3^rd floor where the actual event happens.

There were lot of prizes in store for the costume contest such as spooky cute, prince and princes, there’s even a spooky family category and the best of all; the spookiest costume.

There are games, magic show, talent show and every kid participated. It was fun seeing this kids dance and play and their smile is worth every cent spent and the effort for their costume

We won the spookiest category and went home smiling all the way because of the experience and the happy memories that goes with it

Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines has announced the local winners who will represent the Philippines in this year’s Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NYPDA) 2015, a regional competition across 12 Asia Pacific countries organized by Asia’s no.1 coatings manufacturer Nippon Paint. 

Jose Augustine Ricarte, an Architecture student from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) who submitted the entry “Marikina Link”, and Martha Joyce Tomas, an Interior Design student also from the UST with her entry “Biojet”, bagged the Gold awards for the Architecture and Interior Design categories, respectively.

Rotarians Save hearts with art

The Rotary Club of Makati West (RCMW) is calling on art lovers to support their annual all-sculpture exhibit-sale dubbed “Alay Sining” to be held at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5, Makati City from November 12 to 15, 2015. Now on its eight year, Alay Sining 8’s theme is “Art with a Heart” which complements the Rotary International’s theme of “Be a Gift to the World”.

Alay Sining is a fund-raising initiative for one of RCMW’s signature projects, the Gift of Life program, which gives congenital heart disease (CHD) patients under the program with free heart surgeries.
