A Mother's Shirt
“ By the time of the Great Depression, the T-shirt was often the default garment to be worn when doing farm or ranch chores,” I’d like to share a simple story. Honestly, I don’t like this shirt, but things happen naturally as I go through with my life. Oftentimes I find myself randomly picking this shirt when I’m in a rush. Out of the comfort it brings I came to notice its significance. With a touch of white blended with pink makes it even simpler knowing that much of history can be found in this apparel we call T-shirt. So many ways it served us yet failing to see the importance of it. As I flip through the photo albums, the photos retell the occasions but seeing the shirt reminded me of the feeling at that very moment. A momentous occasion, that as a mother, I search for essentials over preferences.
