I am addict when it comes to cooking workshop, I could go as far as north and south and to where ever place it is being held as long as know that I can learn new dishes or recipe . I love to learn new way and style in cooking. Together with other chef wanna be, I attended a Samsung cooking workshop at the Gala Culinary Center located in Pasig. The event was sponsored by Samsung Philippines through its Digital Appliance and I was glad to be part of it. This month theme is “ Cozy cooking Recipes for the Rainy Days” There were actually two dishes for that day; the Carbonara and the Chicken Pie which were both cooked using the Samsung Smart Oven.

If there is one thing that we Filipino are proud of, I could say that we are proud of our rich culture and food history.  Let’s just say that from Aparri to Jolo, we have a diverse selection of local Pinoy food. Just imagine the different version of dishes that a Bagnet has and the differ way of preparing the longganisa.  Each dish represents a region, who loves to show how this savory, hearty and even exotic dishes would satisfy our palate. I was able to get to taste all this wonderful dishes last July 31, 2015 as Pilmico gives tribute to the Panlasang Norte.  The event was held at Mercanto Centrale and the event was graced by media and food lovers around the Metro.

I was a service crew of Red Ribbon during my college years. I am a working student back then and Red Ribbon was one of the establishments which hired me.  Their old office was located at Banawe and our uniform was consist of a Bandana, a filipina blouse and a blue pencil cut skirt.  Every day, I was so excited to go work because I know that day would be filled with sweetness.  It was exciting to fry the empanada but what makes my day is when I put dedications to all the Red Ribbon cakes.
