The day has finally come, for the press, me and other co-bloggers to meet the famous Horace Grant and the New York Knicks City Dancers. . As early as 10:00 am, the function room at the 2 nd Flr of Marriot Hotel is filled with press. With their camera and video, everyone is glad to be a part of the press conference. Though with heavy schedule to follow, the NBA talent still took some time out to speak with media friends before heading over to the Opening Ceremony at SM Mall of Asia to officially kick off the NBA 3-on-3 Philippines 2011 presented by Sprite. Despite the time constrain, Horace and the New York Knicks City Dancers manage to answers some of the question that was asked. With a light laugh and few jokes here and there, they manage to satisfy the curiosity of the media. 

Having a son who is studying in Ateneo, make me a mom who has to learn a thing or two about his favorite sports, Basketball. I cannot deny that I used to love this game myself way back in the 90’s. Present by Sprite, the NBA 3-on-3 Philippines will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall from July 1-3. This will give an opportunity for Filipino youth to hone their skills and compete among their peers while providing authentic NBA entertainment and experience for all the contestant and supporters. I was invited last night to attend an exclusive blogger’s night to be held at the Max’s Restaurant in Sct. Tuazon. The get together get me a chance to meet once again the PBB winners Melai Cantiveros and her real life love team Jason Francisco, or even more popularly known as Melason. The event gave me a chance to watch the full trailer of their upcoming movie “The Adventures of Pureza”. I am one of those people who couldn’t be happier for Melai and Jason.
