All roads led to the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, at a recently concluded branch opening of the country’s leading medical spa- The Zen Institute. Owned and headed by Dra. Mary Jane “MJ” S. Torres , the   newest center of The Zen Institute is now located at the Ground Floor of the Bonifacio Technology Center along 31st Street corner 2nd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. It promises to be the latest destination of choice for Zen Institute clients in the Taguig and Makati areas.           

Ordinary can be extra ordinary with a little imagination and a good product at hand. This is the time of the year when the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and the everyday gets transformed to something magical. You see it in homes already dressed up in glittering and bright lights, or in the warm feeling that wafts in the air during family reunions, or perhaps on how we uplift our character and mindset to become better persons. Indeed, the holiday season is a time to look with fresh eyes on all that surrounds us in our daily lives. Take the dinner table as an example. While we love to pile it up with all things special for this season like delectable hams or exquisite cheeses, it will not be complete without our bread to brighten up our dining experience and make it even more extraordinary and exciting.

Who is Enteng Kabisote? If you can’t answer that question then maybe I could say that you’re an alien. Someone who lived out of this planet are the only once who don’t know the answer to that question. For so many years now, Enteng Kabisote has been a part of MMFF.  I may say that if there’s MMFF, then there’s an Enteng Kabisote movie on that list. A gentlemen’s agreement was what seals it all, that’s what Bossing Vic answered to me. Agimat and Enteng Kabisote teamed up last MMFF 2012 and I was curious why they did it again this year. Not only did the two bankable artist team-up but added another bonus, with the addition of Ms. Judy Ann Santos as AKO It was a night of fun as Bossing Vic, answered one question after another from bloggers when we were invited to join the  “ Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at si AKO ”  Blogger’s Conference held at Annabel’s Timog.

My priorities changes when I become a mother, it’s not about me anymore but all about my children. Since the birth of my eldest, my plans were always about their future. I map out a plan as how they can express their full potentials whether academic or in their extra curricular. I started their formation when they entered they pre-school days at St. Paul Pasig. Every student need to have an extra curricular or gift as they call it in school. My interest was caught by a picture in the bulletin board where a group of student violinist played at Dusit Hotel. That was the start of the so many lessons they attended; violin lesson, ballet lesson, art lesson, piano lesson and attending workshop plus watching shows that has a connection with their art.

I always say that when you served your food to your guest, served it with a style. One of the best ways of presenting your cuisine to your guest is through your food equipment. This Christmas, all the food and feasting will be especially meaningful as family and friends gather together to celebrate the season—and if food is the way to man’s (and a woman’s, too) heart, then the dining experience will be even more heart-warming when food presentation is made in an appetizing style and an elegant setting. In the midst of the cold breeze of the holiday season, the annual lighting of the Christmas tree at the Open Parking lot of Tutuban center, a popular shopping hub in the country, was held recently.    People flocked the venue and excitedly waited for the lighting ceremonies. Everyone were all smiles as they participated in the countdown before the 35-feet tall Christmas tree was finally lighted. The crowd who attended the event cheered as this event signifies the start of the happiest time of the year. The traditional lighting of the Christmas tree is part of the celebration of Bonifacio Day to remember the sacrifices and bravery of one of the greatest Filipino heroes, Gat Andres Bonifacio.

I have seen her and meet her several times, but this Mrs. Hanepbuhay has so many things still unknown to everyone.  Having the passion to serve just like her husband Senator Manny Villar, Mrs. Cynthia Villar has spearheaded activities that she think will best benefit the residents of Las Pinas City.  On the recent opening of Villar Sipag - the Villar Social Institute of Poverty Alleviation & Governance (SIPAG) along C-5 Extension in Pulang Lupa Uno, she once again proves that poverty is not a hindrance if you just strive to be successful. Mrs. Cynthia Villar deliver a speech that I think should be known to everyone, so that they too will be inspired as to what this lady had done.
