 I  still remember the nights when I have to fall in line as early as 8pm to be the first  to avail of the 50% offered by  French Baker for their clients before closing.  I have five kids and they love the pastries that French Baker has for their baon. Last night I was able to attend and be part of another milestone of French Baker as they celebrate their 25th year anniversary. Together with other media and friends of , we wine in dine; Paris style.

There are funrun, but there are FUNRUN for a cause which is I  always support. I don’t mind paying for the singlet to be included in the run just as long as I know that it is for a good cause and would benefit an organization that need funding or assistance. Seasoned fun run participants know all too well that it takes focus, commitment, and preparation to get past the finish line. That is why it is always encouraging and motivating to run with a community. Running activities help reduce stress while earning extra mental health points. Aside from the physical benefits of raising one's fitness and confidence levels, a fun run is also a great way to raise money for charity. That is what I had in mind when World renowned Filipino Fashion designer Rocky Gathercole presented his collection at the recent fashion show entitle “Halloween by Rocky Gathercole held last Oct. 31, 2014 at the Solaire Resorts and Casino. Halloween was presented in a much different and outstanding way when model made it to the runway. Weak health systems, poor health-seeking behavior, absence of adequate road infrastructure, and lack of transportation facilities prevent Filipinos living in rural communities from accessing quality healthcare services, according to eight municipality mayors from geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDA). In a colloquium hosted by the Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF) titled "Bridging Social and Health Inequities: The GIDA Experience," the mayors who also stand as their respective municipality's health leaders shared health challenges experienced by GIDA residents, as well as the reforms implemented to address those health gaps with the help of their local communities and ZFF.
